Fieldwork is underway!

I’m dreadfully far behind in my updates to the Cliff Archaeology Blog! The field school research teams are in their fourth week of work.  We are almost ready for the open houses which start next weekend (June 15-16) and continue each weekend through the end of June (22-23 & 29-30).  We finished a quick study at the South Cliff Stamp Mill, which we will be showing people this summer.  We’re working our way through new excavations in Clifton, working in two areas, including new excavations intended to expose more of the architecture we discovered during 2012’s dig.

There is a lot planned for this season and I promise to catch up with as many  posts as possible!

Awesome. Have been waiting for the updates! Looks like you have a great crew, some of them look familiar. And I hear Jimbo the well worn truck is in prime shape for the summer!
